Joe Barresi has produced, engineered and mixed some of the most important hard rock, metal and punk bands of the last 15 years including Tool, Queens Of The Stone Age, Bad Religion, The Melvins, Skunk Anansie, Turbonegro, Anthrax and Clutch. Joe can also claim one of the largest music gear collections in the galaxy, and he knows just what each piece of that arsenal can do.
Besides amazing ears, an insane desire for awesome sounds and tone, Joe is also very particular about how a room or space sounds. For that, he calls on Ready Acoustics Chameleon Bass Traps and APS2400 Acoustic Panel Stands.
In his own words:
“I love having a larger than usual control room because it makes the recording environment more comfortable. But it does create some issues when it comes time to mix. Mounting my Ready Acoustic panels on their APS2400 stands allows me to create a “room within a room” when i need it… these panels provide all the necessary absorption I need to mix…..AND they look great too!” – Joe Barresi
Some of Joe’s recent projects include Apocalyptica, Parkway Drive and Bad Religion
